Application of literacy, ability to produce clear, structured written work and oral literacy – including listening and questioning

You are a good listener. You can express yourself clearly when talking or in writing. You are able to explain things to people from different backgrounds. You can read and understand what you read.

Could be one of the following:

• Working towards your communication, literacy or English skills for effective communication with your team mates
• Writing pieces for a school newspaper or magazine
• Taking part in a debate
• Writing an internet blog about an online game you play to share ideas

I have passed my exam in Communication and have a grade B

Or:

I have had an article submitted to the local paper about the proposed sale of our local cricket pitch
